Larimar

Larimar is known as the Caribbean Stone and gemstone quality can only be found in the Dominican Republic.  Originally the Dominican’s believe the stone  came from the sea and was part of the lost city of Atlantis.  Today, we know the Larimar stones traveled downstream from the Bahoruco River  to the ocean.
